South Haven

We had a great time staying with my brother & sister-in-law this past weekend.  We spent lots of time at the beach and visiting with them.  We want to move next door to them so we can have that much fun everyday!!!

We got up Saturday morning and found it cloudy & threatening to rain.  We thought we would take the kids to Lake Michigan to pick some rocks.  This is Deer Lick Point.  

It started off innocently enough.  The kids were digging in the sand then the just started getting sandier & wetter.  We finally gave up forcing them out of the water & stripped them down.  The air was cool, but the water was warm!!

Here is a video of Marshall in his walker.  Hudson & Audrey wouldn't be quiet while I was filming today.  They decided they would rather be in the video than watch it.  

Marshall is getting so big!  He's a little over 19 lbs.

Baseball

Hudson has been playing baseball twice a week since he got out of school.  He is in coach pitch and is really enjoying himself.  I have to put the videos together and then I'll post those also sometime soon.  Here are some pictures of our normal Tuesday & Thursday mornings.

Becky's Wedding

Marshall and I went to Notre Dame on Saturday for a wedding at the Basilica.  It was a gorgeous church although Marshall and I spent most of the wedding in the "cry" area.  The reception was a lot of fun and it was great seeing everyone again.  The other little baby below is my brother's son...Owen.  He was born 5 days after Marshall.    

Josh took the older kids up to Coleman to hang out with Grandma Jean.  

This coming weekend we are headed to Coldwater for my 15 year High School reunion.  We'll see how it goes.

4th of July

We had such a great time over the 4th of July weekend.  We spent time with the Haller family and watched the fireworks at the Miller's.  We ended the great weekend at Busha's house (Josh's Grandmother) for the annual picnic.  

Audrey rode the dirt bike for the first time.  She really liked it until she went a little too fast and took a spill.  She banged up her side and got a good scratch on her head.  She didn't want to get back on the bike.  Josh is headed back up to Coleman this weekend and I'm sure she'll get back on it again.

Grandma C's

We went to visit my mom, Grandma C last weekend.  She has a new puppy, Sophie.  The dog is adorable and 4 lbs.  The kids loved to pull her around the backyard.  I'll post that video soon.  The government building on Grand Street has a fountain out front that kids run through when it's hot.  It was hot & I tried to get the kids in the water to cool down.  Here are some pictures that I've posted to Flickr.

We are heading up to Coleman tomorrow for the 4th of July weekend.  We are going to the Haller picnic on Saturday, Gina & Dickie's party Saturday night with fireworks, & the Tyslicky picnic on Sunday.  I'm sure I'll have more pics next week!
