Fun Times
We met my friend Laura at Costco yesterday. It was so great to see her and her adorable little girls!! If you couldn't tell we had pizza for lunch.
Audrey's Pre-School had a field trip to a local farm. The farm is owned by the Farmington Hills School District. It was a real working farm so they had huge barns and tons of livestock. It was really a good time and we learned a lot. Audrey acutally got to milk a goat. That was pretty cool.

Exciting Days
Hudson is so excited to see if he received any more donations for the St. Jude Hospital everyday! Thank you to those that have contributed and those that haven't please consider it and go here to read more:

It would be so awesome if Hudson exceeded his goal. I will be putting out another plea next week as the paperwork is due back to the school on 5/10.
There are exciting things going on around here. As I write there are four men in the basement putting it back together. We picked out new carpet and paint. I hope it goes together when it's all in! I will post pics when it is done. Marshall loves to shut the door when I'm outside.
The tulips are finally coming up in the front of the house, but the burning bush that I love so much is officially dead. I have to pull it out. I'm thinking about using Josh's Jeep to yank it out. He didn't think that was such a great idea. I certainly don't want to dig it out...so we'll see how it ends up moving to the brush pile.
We are meeting my friend Laura today at Costco for lunch. I'm excited to see her again and her beautiful daughters. Do you think it would be weird of me to bring my camera to Costco to try and get a few good shots off? A little weird, but I think ok.

St. Jude Hospital
Hudson is once again raising funds for a good cause. Wattles Elementary School is conducting a Math-a-thon. Hudson has commited to complete a math book to raise funds for the St. Jude Hospital. As Hudson says, "We have to raise money for kids that got really sick and their hair fell out."
For this fundraiser you can click on the below link to pledge any amount of money. Even a few bucks help raise funds for cancer research. If you don't want to pledge money on-line you can email us or call us.

Outside
So, the weather has been nicer so we've been outside a lot more.
I'm trying some new photography stuff while tossing around the idea of taking photography classes to do this professionally. Here is what we've been up to lately.
We went on a bike ride through the woods to the closest park. We forgot it had rained for the previous two days so the trail was muddy. Marshall didn't mind as he rode in style!

I took Audrey & Marshall to a couple parks to check out shooting locations this morning:
Marshall was not thrilled with my chair that I painted.

Basement & Skort
So, I've been cleaning out the basement. It is not fun, but it will be nice when it is all cleared out. My friend Joni has agreed to take all of Audrey's old clothes for her daughter who is Marshall's age. I've been bagging them up for her. I ran into somethings that I just can't part with. I found this little dress that Audrey wore here:

Hope you have a good week!
Look at Audrey, my nephew Jack, and Hudson. How fast they grow up!!
Back to the project:
I cut the bottom off and thought it would make a great skirt for Audrey. Then I remembered who I was making it for. My girl needed shorts underneath as she tumbles, flips, jumps, and does anything that will potentially expose her undies to the world. I then searched some more and found a colorful tank top. The tank top became the waist band & the shorts underneath.
Here is the final product:

This one piece skort is very practical for Audrey. I whipped it up in an hour (while Marshall napped & Audrey is at Pre-School), which I should have been folding the 4 loads of laundry on the couch or finish going through basement.
I felt as though I needed to recycling some of Audrey's toddler and baby clothes. It makes me feel a little better for getting rid of the everything else.

Kites & Bikes
On the only nice day we've had this week we rode our bikes to the Middle School by our house to fly our kites. Marshall was really not having a good time. Maybe it was the hat I made him wear in the sun. It kept creeping over his eyes. We had to cut our kite flying short, yet it was still fun!!
The Haller men & company (Eugene, Jeremy, Mike, and John) descended upon our house last night. That way they could leave by 5:30 am today to get to Kentucky. They are riding their dirt bikes through the mountains...or something like that. The first two pictures were taken last night as the guys hung out in the garage. I got up early so I could take a few pictures of them leaving...I then went back to bed!!

Busy week
We've had a busy week.
Audrey and Marshall were entertained while the concrete guys poured our new patio.
We had a basement flood. I will not post any pictures as it was GROSS!!!
We went to have a picture with the Easter bunny. I tried to get pictures with all three kids together. They don't stand still long enough for me to get a good shot off.
We got the bike trailer out and Josh hooked it up to Hudson's bike, instead of mine. He charged Audrey $.10 per ride to the dead end and back. We hooked up Marshall in the trailer and Hudson carefully pulled him while Audrey ran beside them.

(Marshall's little tongue cracks me up!)
We dyed Easter eggs.

We had a good time in between cleaning!
